Traffic Light System Framework at Te Raukura

Te Raukura ki Kāpiti is committed to providing high-quality visitor experiences as the leading performing arts venue on the Kāpiti Coast.

While respectful of personal choice, it is our role to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff, their whanau, and our communities. Ensuring that this venue is a safe space that allows the community to immerse themselves in a diverse range of performing arts events and performances.

In line with the Government introducing the new Covid-19 Traffic Light System, Te Raukura will be implementing important changes in the operation of the facility. From Friday December 3rd 2021 Kāpiti Coast enters into ORANGE setting and the centre becomes a Vaccination Certificate Venue requiring all event attendees (over the age of 12 years 3 months) including all audience, artists, cast, crew, staff and volunteers to show a valid My Vaccine Pass.

The venue will ensure compliance with all Government framework to ensure that events can run as planned and with maximum audiences. Ensuring that we are keeping our vulnerable community safe and that as many people as possible can enjoy events, theatre and the performing arts.

Our ticketing partner Eventfinda is implementing new systems to integrate the Ministry of Health's My Vaccine Pass for ease of attending events within this framework.

We look forward to bringing more events to the stage in 2022 and will update you when there are changes within the system.
