Bridget Douglas and Her Magic Flute

The Kāpiti Concert Orchestra opens its 2023 concert season with one of the country’s best loved musicians, Bridget Douglas, Principal Flute with the NZSO. Bridget is no stranger to Kāpiti audiences appearing in several diverse music ensembles over the years. Some of these concerts have been in partnership with Donald Armstrong, Resident Conductor of KCO, who will conduct the Orchestra with Bridget as soloist in a performance of a much-loved Mozart Concerto for Flute.

Other works in the programme include Remember Parihaka by New Zealand composer Anthony Ritchie and Symphony No. 4 by Brahms.
