The New Zealand Comedy Trust presents – Comedy Fest in Kāpiti.

Kāpiti, we’re back for one night only and we’re bringing the big laughs with us!

Hosted by Sam Smith (as seen on the Best Foods Comedy Gala and The Traitors NZ), this is a punchy, high-energy Festival showcase built like a greatest-hits album: fast, fun, and stacked with comedians you already love, plus a few you’re about to become slightly obsessed with.

Leading the charge is Josh Thomson – one of Aotearoa’s sharpest and most effortlessly funny performers. A mainstay of NZ panel comedy – from 7 Days and 7 Days Live to Have You Been Paying Attention? NZ, Patriot Brains and Taskmaster NZ – Josh brings fast thinking, big presence, and that rare skill of making chaos look completely under control. Expect punchy stand-up, quick-fire riffs, and stories that land hard – the kind of set that has the whole room cackling and wondering how he made it look so easy.

Alongside Sam and Josh, you’ll get three more comedians (still to be announced), bringing stand-up to Te Raukura ki Kāpiti, Coastlands Theatre. This has been a sold-out event for the last few years, and it’s shaping up to sell out again – so get in quick, round up your comedy mates, and lock it in early.
