Kaumātua Kapa Haka Festival 2025

Kaumātua Kapa Haka Festival is an annual celebration of our kaumātua, where our community come together to connect, sing, dance, perform and show the best cultural entertainment in celebration.

Piki mai, kake mai, tau mai rā.

Come and be entertained by our awesome Kaumātua Kapa Haka groups. There will also be choirs, hip-hop dancing, big bands, and solo vocalists.
Entry is Free. Nau mai haere mai. Everyone in our community is welcome at this free event.

Kicking off with a pōwhiri at 8am and first Kapa roopu at 9am – you don't want to miss this!
The day will also include:
- Hauora (health) checks
- Rongoā (traditional remedies)
- Toi Māori (Māori art)
