Home > Events & Shows > KCO's Anniversary Concert
With support from a Grant from the Philipp Family Foundation Charitable Trust, the founding conductor of KCO, Kenneth Young, has been commissioned to compose our opening work, which is evocative of the diverse Kāpiti sounds of nature as expressed in text by Dr Robin Philipp.
Following will be 4 Arias sung by our four young soloists whom, after the interval, will join KCO and members of the Orpheus Choir and the Kāpiti Chorale in Beethoven's 9th Symphony, Ode To Joy.
